Your housing loan will be fully settled from the sale proceeds before any balance is distributed to the owners. For properties with multiple owners, the ownership share entered will affect how the net proceeds are allocated between the sellers. Normally most cases are 50/50 share unless otherwise stated by lawyer during purchase of the property. For HDB purchases, housing grants such as the First-Timer Grant, Enhanced CPF Housing Grant (EHG) and Proximity Housing Grant (PHG) are subject to prevailing HDB eligibility conditions.
